Helene Hahn Loyd, former Disney vice chairman and an early govt of DreamWorks SKG, has died. She was 78 years previous.
Loyd died peacefully in her sleep on October 24 in Park Metropolis, Utah.
She was born in Westbury, New York, and graduated from Hofstra College in 1970. After graduating, she moved to Los Angeles and commenced working briefly at Paramount Photos whereas pursuing her legislation diploma. She then graduated from Loyola Regulation Faculty in 1975.
Loyd would be a part of Paramount Photos in 1997 and turn out to be senior vice chairman. She would proceed to work at Walt Disney Studios, the place she was named govt vice chairman in 1981, elevating her among the many most senior girls working within the movement image business.
