Eight years after a tour combining viewers Q&As and solo music, Nick Cave will return to North America with “Conversations With Nick Cave: An Night of Speak and Music,” a follow-up to his 2019 tour of the identical title. This follow-up is scheduled to happen over 25 dates in the USA and Canada this spring.
The reveals will start on April 9, 2027 on the Queen Elizabeth Theater in Vancouver and conclude on Could 21 on the Saenger Theater in New Orleans. Within the intervening six weeks, Cave booked two nights on the Orpheum in Los Angeles (April 20-21), the Kings Theater in Brooklyn (Could 7-8), the Orpheum in San Francisco (April 16-17), fifth Ave. Theater in Seattle (April 13-14), at Massey Corridor in Toronto (April 29-30) and on the Boch Middle Schubert Theater in Boston (Could 4-5).
Single appearances are deliberate for Portland, Minneapolis, Chicago, Detroit, Montreal, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, Asheville and Atlanta, along with bookends Vancouver and New Orleans. (Scroll down for the complete listing of appearances.)
The reveals are described as “a mixture of unanswered questions from the viewers and intimate interpretations of Cave’s intensive catalog on the piano.”
Cave mentioned in a press release: “Years in the past, in a particular way of thinking, I traveled throughout the USA, stood on stage in numerous cities and answered questions from the viewers.
