Invoice Maher opened his new episode of “Actual Time” Friday evening by addressing Trump’s 1,300-word social media tirade in opposition to him after their White Home dinner earlier this month, with the comedian evaluating the president to Taylor Swift.

After an interview with Republican Sen. Ted Cruz, who was busy promoting his new guide about Supreme Courtroom Justice Clarence Thomas, Maher welcomed his panel: Jim VandeHei, co-founder and CEO of Axios, and Child Rock, a singer who as soon as rapped., “Younger girls, younger girls, I like them underage, see / Some say it is statutory – however I say it is compulsory.”

Child Rock was current at that October 15 White Home dinner with Trump, Maher and ESPN pundit Stephen A Smith, and appeared to defend Maher in opposition to Trump’s sequence of claims in his record-breaking article on Fact Social.

“He stated I used to be drunk. I wasn’t drunk,” Maher claimed, to which Child Rock replied, “You had been fairly excessive.” “We had a good time – and it lasted 4 hours, didn’t it? » requested Maher. “We had a good time,” Child Rock supplied, including, “I needed to depart early, however yeah, I did… Was he speaking about dinner or all that?”

After their change on the White Home dinner, Maher mentioned how former President Obama campaigned for Abdul El-Sayed, a Democratic Senate candidate in Michigan, who’s Muslim. Maher stated: “In terms of this concern of Islam in America and Muslim candidates, the left is naive and the proper is hysterical. ” He then quoted Trump, who stated of El-Sayed: “If Abdul and the Democrats win, they may open the floodgates and welcome hordes of jihadists to our shores, making a nightmare of violence and terror till you possibly can’t even have Christmas. »

“You don’t actually imagine it,” Maher requested Child Rock, who grew up on a sprawling property in suburban Michigan. Child Rock then in contrast El-Sayed to the 9/11 hijackers, saying: “Individuals discuss assimilation on a regular basis too, do not they? This man has assimilated rather a lot – an excellent training, he is well-spoken, even a good-looking boy – [but] who else has assimilated very properly? The shit that flew these planes into our World Commerce Facilities. The Fort Hood shooter. This has occurred all around the world, so this Islamic extremism scares me rather a lot. I do not know, is it a wolf in sheep’s clothes, or is it only a wolf in wolf’s clothes?

Maher responded: “It isn’t that vital, however the 9/11 hijackers weren’t assimilated right here. They got here from Saudi Arabia.”

“Those flying the planes had been from Saudi Arabia? No,” Child Rock retorted.

In reality, 15 of the 19 9/11 hijackers had been from Saudi Arabia, two from the United Arab Emirates, one from Egypt, and one from Lebanon, and the primary hijackers to reach in the USA had been in January 2000, in order that they weren’t “assimilated very properly,” as the person previously often called Robert James Ritchie so boldly claimed.
