Congressman Eric SwalwellCalifornia’s gubernatorial race has come to a screeching halt… on account of sexual assault allegations.
Swalwell made the announcement on X, writing, “I’m suspending my marketing campaign for governor.”

To my household, workers, pals and supporters, I’m deeply sorry for the errors in judgment I’ve made in my previous.
I’ll combat the intense and false allegations which have been made – however that’s my combat, not a marketing campaign’s.

Though his gubernatorial ambitions are dashed, Swalwell has not stated whether or not he’ll depart the Capitol altogether.
She says she remembers a clip from that night… when Swalwell was all over her. She says she tried to push him away, but he continued anyway.
Swalwell has completely denied the accusations against him.
He also faces allegations that he sent unsolicited nudes to a political influencer and a DHS investigation for allegedly paying a Brazilian nanny under the table when her work permit had expired.
