Shuter: Palace involved about Prince William and Kate’s affiliation with Tom Cruise

I have been ready for the royalists to select up on our concept about Tom Cruise’s curiosity and devotion to the Prince and Princess of Wales. Since final week’s royal premiere for Excavatorroyalists have smugly touted that Prince William and Kate are the true royals as a result of they’re so near Tom Cruise. Tom Sykes hasn’t talked about anything within the final week, you realize? However although Cruise’s rebranding was a hit, make no mistake, he is nonetheless very concerned within the Church of Scientology and stays CoS’s greatest recruiter. To a few of us, it looks as if Cruise is encouraging William and Kate for his personal Scientology-related agenda. On the very least, there is a non-zero probability that Cruise was despatched to catch a number of huge fish for Xenu. Effectively, in line with Rob Shuter, the palace is worried.

Tom Cruise’s more and more cozy relationship with Catherine, Princess of Wales, is inflicting concern behind palace partitions – and insiders insist it isn’t romance. That is Scientology.

Cruise, 64, grew to become more and more effusive about Catherine after the London premiere of Digger, the place he took her hand and helped her down the steps. The Hollywood celebrity additionally publicly praised Catherine and Prince William as “extraordinary folks.”

However sources inform Naughty However Good that Cruise’s long-standing affiliation with Scientology makes his rising entry to Britain’s future king and queen significantly delicate.

“Nobody is nervous that Catherine will run off with Tom Cruise,” a palace supply informed Naughty However Good. “They’re nervous about Scientology getting nearer to the long run king and queen. That is one other matter solely.”

The spiritual position of the monarchy makes the optics significantly delicate. King Charles is the supreme governor of the Church of England, whereas William is the inheritor to the throne.

What makes this dialog much more beautiful is that William shouldn’t be significantly spiritual and should be dragged kicking and screaming to do something for or with the Anglican Church. Which makes him fertile floor for any sort of recruitment, proper? That being mentioned, I really feel like it is a state of affairs the place William and Kate’s laziness could be their saving grace. They’re just too disengaged and indolent to be recruited for something. But in a monarchy the place optics are presupposed to be every part, it is fascinating that nobody within the Welsh camp noticed an issue in getting near Cruise.
